ProSaude grew out of a Portuguese-language health education project and now publishes notes on health research for readers outside academic settings.

Some notes explain recent findings. Others deal with risk, prevention, aging, and primary care. The practical question stays the same: what does the study say, who does it apply to, and where does the interpretation still need caution?

The Portuguese pages are short summaries when the full note is in English. They are not automatic copies. They give readers a direct route into the longer text without losing the context.
